Elon Musk Says:
I think it’s important to have a future that inspiring and feeling right. I just think that happy reasons that you get up in the morning and want to live like why do you want to live, what’s the point, what inspires you, what you love about the future and is we are not out there if the future does not include being out there among the stars and being a multi-planet species I find it’s incredibly depressing if that’s not the future that we gonna have.
Having multiple species and spacefaring civilization is not inevitable, its important to appreciate this is not inevitable. The sustainable energy future I think is largely inevitable but being safe spiritualization is definitely not inevitable. If you look at the progress in space 1969 were able to send something to the moon 1969, then we had the space shuttle, the space shuttle cloud, only takes people to low-earth orbit, the space shuttle retired and the United States could no one to open. So that the trend, it’s right is like down to nothing. If you’re mistaken when they think that technology just automatically improves, it does not automatically improve, it only improves when a lot of people work very hard to make it better and actually it will fly itself degrade actually.
If you look at great civilizations like ancient Egypt and they are able to make the permits. They forget how to be about and in the Romans they build these incredible aqueducts, that’s about how to do it.
I think the value of inspiration is very much underrated but I want to be clear I’m not trying to be anyone’s favor, I’m just trying to think about the future and not be sad.
